Prince Thinks Internet is Dead

The performer Prince compares the Internet to the decline of MTV. It’s all over.

According to Prince his new album “20Ten” will not be available for download on the net. Yeah right. Maybe not officially. Prince seems like a pouty baby when he states that, “I don’t see why I should give my new music to iTunes or anyone else. They won’t pay me an advance for it, and then they get angry when they can’t get it.” So he is mad that he can’t get advance royalties so his bonehead response is to give the album away for free. Makes a lot of sense – bonehead!

Now my favorite part of the interview with The Daily Mirror is when Prince claims, “The internet’s like MTV. At one time MTV was hip and suddenly it became outdated. Anyway, all these computers and digital gadgets are no good. They just fill your head with numbers, and that can’t be good for you.”

I think if we look inside the head of Prince we will find some dusty screws and nuts rolling around. And by the way Mr. Prince, music is math and math is music. So all those numbers rolling around in the heads of Internet users would already be there from listening to your music.

Google Intentionally Suppresses Site

Google is so transparent. They are of course fanboys of Al Gore and his Fake Global Warming cause so they intentionally keep a new site lampooning the giggling sex crazed poodle down. It’s been three weeks since the domain crazysexpoodles.com was purchased and established. Several other less controversial domains were purchased at the same time and they are ranked and one already has PR. It’s okay to have a site selling grass seed but not okay to have a site lampooning the latest scandal by the left’s rock star Al Gore. Shame on you Google for letting your politics and bias show. They do the same thing with the anti-PETA site Sea Kitties.

Belt Buckle Wishes

I want this belt buckle. And I want a friend or associate to buy it for me. Seriously, I have helped thousands of you through the years giving you my time and expertise never asking for anything in return. Someone out there, and you know who you are, owes me this belt buckle as seen on Motorcycle Sales.

So go ahead, buy it while you can and I want it wrapped real pretty. And I don’t want to wait until Christmas or my birthday. I want it right now so I can wear it to Sturgis this year. So who will be the chosen one that buys the belt buckle and becomes a favored associate and V.I.P. in my eyes for many years to come. I could have asked for a motorcycle.

You Made A Sale = You Lost a Subscriber

This is a message to any marketers trying to sell me a product or service or just getting me to read your newsletter by using the title: “You Made a Sale”.  I now have a filter created that will tag and trash any email that arrives using this technique. I get plenty of messages during the day that are legitimate sales and it is very annoying to receive the fake ones. You are history if you send this email to my account. In addition I will read the weeks logs and unsubscribe from any marketer’s list using this irritating technique. I buy loads of software and services each year and rest assured I won’t be buying from you with these types of idiotic techniques.

Enough With The Upsells!

Today I visited a web site selling a supposed new way to find traffic and make money as an affiliate. Just once I’d like to visit a sales page that isn’t full of the worst kind of hype. Deception, distortion and withholding information that is critical to understanding what is being sold. It’s the same old philosophy. Sell them the dream, get them in the door and hope they don’t cancel when you reveal the true nature of the product. Oh and make sure you hit them with multiple up-sells until they are ready to scream.

That’s the experience I had today visiting “HARD CASH HIJACK”.  The only think hijacked so far is my goodwill, trust and patience. Now having said that, it’s not all bad news. The product may be viable but it is certainly not for everyone and it certainly is not as easy as the hyped up sales copy leads you to believe.

Bookmark and stop back as I add to this review over the next few days as I investigate further. First I have to calm down after being put through the wringer with up-sells and hyped copy and misinformation just so the author could hide the fact that this product is all about buying ad space on web sites using banner ads. Big whoop!

Okay to be fair there is some software that helps analyze potential advertising opportunities. The author conveniently leaves out of the sales copy the fact that you will need to learn how to find, make contact and negotiate with site owners over the cost you will pay to place your banner ads on their sites. Just a little detail.

I knew I was about to be disappointed when the author prefaces access to the software with the words, “you need to keep an open mind”. Those are the code words that really mean “you aren’t going to like what you have to do” and it’s not going to be as easy as advertised in the sales page.

That’s enough for now. I have my finger on the cancel button but before I do I am going to investigate the product further to see if it is viable and whether the author can be forgiven for being so deceptive with his sales copy. Stop back later and read more…

WordPress Buzz – Themes & Plugins

There isn’t enough time in the day to review all the plugins and themes available for WordPress. That’s the way most people feel when looking over the huge number of plugins released for WordPress. Wp Buzz is our attempt to review the most promising plugins, themes, and resources used today. The same plugins we use to build Blog-A-Month-Club sites and many other types of blog sites. If you see a plugin or theme reviewed here, it means we use them ourselves so our reviews are based on true experience. Hopefully these short reviews will help save a little time when trying to decide if a plugin is worth the money and effort. Even free plugins can waste your time and cost you money. Let us know if you find our reviews and discussions useful. We invite plugin & theme users and developers to post comments or ask questions.

This is a no-follow FREE blog! Post at least 2 comments and your comment links are followed.

Gtrends Assassin Thumbs Down

We are all looking for that pushbutton income online. Every time a product comes along that promises this type of passive income, I get flooded with questions from hosting customers and associates about whether or not to buy the latest system, software or gadget. I don’t mind the questions but in order to answer, I have to buy it and use it. So enough people have requested a review to justify a purchase, maybe.

So yes I’ve purchased Gtrends Assassin. I have several sites running the script now. You can see one of them at totaltvbiz.com . (Program is Garbage and now deleted from the site)

I’ve owned and tested the script for three days now. Keep in mind that this is not a fair amount of time to properly analyze a script, but I can give you my initial impressions, good and bad.

As of this moment, and based on what I have seen thus far, I’m leaning towards a “thumbs down”. My advice is to not buy this product yet. Here’s why:

1. No support system other than email which isn’t getting answered.

2. Product bugs. It’s understandable that a script may have some bugs, they all do, but when support requests are ignored and the bugs are not acknowledged or repaired, this is a big red warning.

3. Product is being auctioned off. Another red warning sign. See the site and script being auctioned.

4. Script has some serious flaws such as Adsense not appearing, exit popups that malfunction and can’t be controlled, and keywords that pull in irrelevant content and ads.

5. This really should be number one. The concept of the script itself. GTA is a pure scraping script and the footprint for the site will likely be target for Google to penalize.

6. And last but not least…excessive over the top sales page hype and some unabashed fibs..

========

The ability to automatically submit to over 33 book marking and social groups so that your content will immediately get indexed by the BIG G”

Capability does not exist. Currently only three bookmarking sites available.

========

To easily earn $200-$500 from Google Adsense on EVERY domain which is using GTrends Script, this way if you install it on 10 domains, then your $2,000/month dream will be a reality.

========

There is much more over the top hype on the sales page. See for yourself: http://www.gtrendsassassin.com/

Now you may notice I’m not using an affiliate link. There is a simple reason why. I can’t in good conscience promote a product like this without first being completely sure that I have recommended something of real value. The jury is still out on Gtrends Assassain.

Next time I will update this review with any positive aspects of the software I find. Bookmark and return in a few days.

====================

Gtrends Assassin Update:
This experiment and review is over. There are too many negative aspects of this software that make it useless to discuss any positive aspects. It’s over-hyped, buggy, no support desk, no forum, no email support, and running the software on your site will likely cause it to be banned by Google. This is a strong Thumbs Down and no buy recommendation.

WordPress and WordPress MU To Merge!

It’s been discussed for some time now, but it’s true, WordPress has confirmed that WordPress and WordPress MU are to be one in the same. This is an interesting development. I work with both versions and I have some concern about this merger. Excuse me if I hang back and let early adopters suffer through all the bugs that will likely appear.

From WordPress: “So if you’ve been worried about the merge, have a cup of chamomile tea and relax; it will all be fine.” :)

Uhu…I’ve heard that one before. Of course I’ll have to try it out on some test sites but it won’t be touching any other installations until I see a few versions released that correct any serious bugs. I will bet money that bugs will occur and serious ones..
