Get the Buzz!

There isn’t enough time in the day to review all the resources available for WordPress. That’s the way most WordPress users feel when looking over the vast number of plugins distributed for WordPress. Wp Buzz is our attempt to review the most useful plugins & themes used today. The same plugins we use to build Blog-A-Month-Club sites and many other types of sites developed with WordPress. If you see a plugin or theme reviewed here, it means we use them ourselves so our reviews are based on true experience. Hopefully these short reviews will help save a little time when trying to decide if a plugin is worth the money and effort. Even free plugins can waste your time and cost you money. Let us know if you find our reviews and discussions useful. We invite plugin & theme users and developers to post comments or ask questions.

This is a no-follow FREE blog! Post at least 2 comments and your comment links are followed.

WordPress and WordPress MU To Merge!

It’s been discussed for some time now, but it’s true, WordPress has confirmed that WordPress and WordPress MU are to be one in the same. This is an interesting development. I work with both versions and I have some concern about this merger. Excuse me if I hang back and let early adopters suffer through all the bugs that will likely appear.

From WordPress: “So if you’ve been worried about the merge, have a cup of chamomile tea and relax; it will all be fine.” :)

Uhu…I’ve heard that one before. Of course I’ll have to try it out on some test sites but it won’t be touching any other installations until I see a few versions released that correct any serious bugs. I will bet money that bugs will occur and serious ones..

Ok People…Knock it off!

I made this blog a “Do Follow Blog” So contributors can get a little link love, but you can’t come here and just post spam. Spam is when you pick a topic and your post has no relevancy whatsoever with links to sell Viagra. Heck I’d let you link back to any affiliate program including Viagra if you would just contribute something meaningful and relevant. Spammers be gone!

Do You Yuuguu?

We use Yuuguu for WordPress & Hosting training and support. This is a slick little web-conferencing and screen sharing app that works well. The only problem we’ve seen is that some customers have memory issues but overall it hasn’t stopped us from having successful screen sharing training sessions. We use Yuuguu extensively while providing training to Blog A Month customers.

Give it a try. It’s free unless you want to be the Enterprise presence for your customers. We’ve only scratched the surface of this online meeting app so your comments and feedback are appreciated.

wp-spinner

Sadly wp-spinner is no longer being sold or supported. Programmers who create plugins and then abandon them because they can’t be bothered with keeping them up to date with WordPress should be blacklisted and all money made refunded. I would never purchase another plugin from such an irresponsible developer. They should have at the very least released the code by selling it or making it open-source. Don’t get me started on this subject but the people who developed the plugin should be avoided if they ever try to sell anything online again.

Here is the lame excuse: http://www.wpspinner.com/

If you want to see wp-spinner in action just go to the front page of this blog and refresh a few times. You will see content and titles rotating.

Making Money on the Internet

Making money on the Internet is the easiest and the most difficult thing to do. What makes the process hard to describe is the differences between each individual including their personality, background, education, experience, motivation, goals, work ethic, and resources. There is no perfect money making map or recipe that will work the same for all.
