How WordPress Staging Works

In this video i’ll show you how to create WordPress Staging environment and how to push the site to live.

Important Points:

1- If your production site was already built and live (and you were only testing updates/changes) please choose push live to existing site at 03:22 when cloning from staging to live site.

2- If your site is still loading the staging URL after being pushed to live. Please go to Files > public_html > wp-config.php file and make sure that URLs have been updated correctly.

3- Also make sure Discourage Search Engines is unchecked by going to /wp-admin > settings > reading as shown in the video above.
